7 DAYS KENYA WILDLIFE TOUR – SWEETWATERS – SAMBURU – LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA

You will be picked at the Airport or at your hotel after breakfast, our Representative will meet you to finalize and brief about the safari plan and introduce you to your guide, then depart Nairobi for Sweetwaters Tented Camp in the secluded heart of the Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Sanctuary, arriving in time for lunch. Sweetwaters Tented Camp is located on a private ranch and supports a large number of game including elephant, giraffe, and many other animals found in this park. Later, you will be dropped back at the Camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast your guide will pick you and drive further north to Samburu Game Reserve, located high above the banks of the life-giving Uaso Nyiro River near the Shaba Game Reserve. You have the option of carrying picnic boxes or returning for a hot lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon game viewing in the reserve, filled with scenic beauty, renowned for its unique Special Five animals including the Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, and Grevy’s Zebra among others. Later, return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will be picked up by your guide after breakfast and proceed for a full day with your picnic boxes, in search of hunting cats and the Samburu Special Five: Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, and Grevy’s Zebra, with optional activities like visiting the Samburu women for cultural activities. Later, you will be dropped at the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, depart from Shaba as you drive south through Isiolo, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, until Nanyuki town. Thereafter, head west to Nyahururu Falls, still known to many as Thomson’s Falls. After a brief stopover, drive southward to the next destination, Lake Nakuru, known as the Pink Lake because of the millions of flamingos lining its shores and also known as the home of the white and black rhino, arriving in the evening with a game drive enroute to the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Early morning breakfast at the lodge, then your guide will pick you up to proceed with a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru, afterward proceeding to Masai Mara with lunch on the way, or arriving at the Lodge in time for lunch if time allows. Your guide will then pick you up and proceed for an evening game drive in search of the Big Five. Dinner and overnight will be at the Lodge.

After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast, the driver guide will pick you up and proceed to visit the Masai village for cultural activities at an extra cost, later taking a drive back to Nairobi with hot lunch on the way, arriving in the evening, where you will be dropped at your hotel or the Airport to connect your flight to your next destination.
