10 DAYS MOUNT KENYA – SAMBURU – LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA – LAKE NAIVASHA – AMBOSELI

You will be picked at the Airport or at your hotel after breakfast, our Representative will meet you to finalize and brief about the safari plan and introduce you to your guide, then proceed to Mount Kenya National Park. Depart Nairobi via the rich farmland of the Kikuyu community, with a stopover at Karatina Market, the largest fresh food market in East Africa. Afternoon relaxation or wildlife viewing from the balconies of the lodge. Overnight at Mountain Lodge or similar.

After breakfast, depart Mount Kenya for Samburu Game Reserve. The easy, scenic drive is via the Kenya highlands and the semi-arid frontier district. You will arrive in time for lunch at your Lodge in Samburu National Reserve. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game viewing drive along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

A full day shall be spent at the Samburu Game Reserve with unlimited game viewing drives along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Picnic lunches are provided while in the park. Samburu hosts many species of animals among them the Samburu Special Five. An evening game drive in this reserve famous for its exclusive game viewing and the home of the Special Five: the Gerenuk (giraffe-necked antelope), Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, and Beisa Oryx. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Samburu for Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch if time allows, or with hot lunch on the way. Afternoon game drive, with the chance to view plenty of bird species and the Big Five among others. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

After breakfast you will be picked up from your Lodge and proceed for a morning game drive, later departing Nakuru for Maasai Mara, arriving in time for a late lunch. Check in at your Lodge, relax, and have your lunch. Afterwards you will proceed with your afternoon game drive, and in the evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast, the driver will pick you up and proceed to visit the Masai village at an extra cost for cultural activities, and later, with hot lunch on the way, proceed to Lake Naivasha, arriving in the evening. With the option of a boat ride at an extra cost, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate National Park for your game drive, afterwards proceeding to Amboseli with lunch on the way, arriving in the evening. Amboseli National Park is famous for its unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro and a relaxed, abundant population of elephants as well as prolific bird life. All meals and overnight at the lodge.

After your breakfast your guide will pick you and proceed for a full day game drive with your picnic lunches. A full day of game drive in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen and a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. Later on in the evening you will be dropped at the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast check out at the lodge and if weather permits you will see the view of Mount Kilimanjaro, later depart Amboseli Park for Nairobi with a picnic lunch served enroute, arriving in Nairobi late afternoon where you will be dropped at the Airport for your next destination.
