8 DAYS MOUNT KENYA – SWEETWATERS – LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA

You will be picked at the Airport or at your hotel after breakfast, our Representative will meet you to finalize and brief about the safari plan and introduce you to your guide, then proceed to Mount Kenya National Park. Depart Nairobi via the rich farmland of the Kikuyu community, with a stopover at Karatina Market, the largest fresh food market in East Africa. Afternoon relaxation or wildlife viewing from the balconies of the lodge. Overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge or similar.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up and proceed to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary. Afternoon game drive with a visit to a tame rhinoceros and the chimpanzee orphanage (weather and road conditions permitting). Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up and depart Sweetwaters for Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch if time allows, or with lunch on the way, with a game drive enroute to the Lodge. Lake Nakuru National Park is known as the Pink Lake and the home of the white and black rhinoceros.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up and, with your picnic lunches, proceed for a game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, afterwards driving further southwest through the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. Optional afternoon boat ride at an extra cost — Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake with a picturesque view of Mount Longonot, hippos, and over 400 species of birds, including pelicans. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up from the Lodge and proceed to Lake Naivasha’s Hell’s Gate National Park for a game drive, with optional activities available at an extra cost such as cycling and walking with a guide. Later, with lunch on the way, or if time allows, you will arrive in Masai Mara in time for a hot lunch at your Lodge. After lunch, an afternoon game drive in search of wild animals like elephant, black-maned lion, buffalo, and cheetah among others. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast, with your picnic boxes, proceed for a full day of game viewing in this reserve, which is essentially the northern extension of the Serengeti in Tanzania. Break for your picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Optional Balloon Ride at an extra cost.

After breakfast, the driver will pick you up and proceed to visit the Masai village for cultural activity at an extra cost, after which you will depart Masai Mara with hot lunch on the way. Upon arrival, you can have an optional dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant later at an extra cost, and be transferred to the Airport to connect your flight back home, or at your Hotel in Nairobi.
