3 DAYS SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE – PRIVATE SAFARI

You will be picked at the Airport or at your Hotel after breakfast, our Representative will meet you to finalize and brief about the safari plan and introduce you to your guide. Drive north through cultivations of sisal and pineapple to the northern frontier district and on to Samburu National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, relax and later proceed with an evening game drive in this reserve, famous for its exclusive game viewing and the home of the Special Five: the Gerenuk (giraffe-necked antelope), Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, and Beisa Oryx. Later, the driver will drop you at the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Your guide will pick you in the morning after breakfast and, with your picnic lunches, proceed for a full day of game viewing drives in this dry, semi-arid park with its striking background view of the Mathews Range. The gently flowing Uaso Nyiro River, which traverses this park, provides evergreen vegetation for the rare gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, and reticulated giraffe found here. All meals and overnight at the Lodge.

A pre-morning game drive, then return to the Lodge for breakfast, before departing Samburu for Nairobi with lunch enroute, arriving in the evening, where you will be dropped at the Hotel or at the Airport to connect your flight on time to your next destination.
